"The Making Strides Foundation is a private therapy practice located in Penn Township, PA offering licensed occupational, speech, physical therapy services, and adaptive horseback riding lessons to children, adolescents, and young adults with diverse diagnoses and needs. Our mission at Making Strides is to provide affordable, accessible, high quality, and holistic therapy services to individuals across the lifespan while incorporating the added benefits of equine assisted therapies and services. Making Strides specializes in “hippotherapy” –the purposeful manipulation of equine movement in treatment sessions.

The Making Strides Foundation is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization that relies on donations to fund our programs, which keeps the out-of-pocket cost of each therapy session affordable for families. Donations also assist with essential equine care such as routine veterinary expenses, farrier services (horse shoes) and board for our therapy horses. In addition, donations also help fund facility improvements that make our farm more accessible for our diverse clientele.
